I just want to give a quick update on our clan. We have had a lot of changes this last year. We love the new home and the new ward and the new school. The kids are making lots of new friends. Christian has become very involved in Karate. It was so cute...the other day I left the 3 older kids home alone for a few minutes while I ran to town, Christian is going on 11 so I thought they would be OK for an hour. When I got home Christian had put on his Karate uniform because he was going to protect them from any bad guys....(maybe we have seen too much 3 Ninjas, which I highly recommend by the way). Carson has decided that he is taking this year off of public school. It was not an easy choice, but one I am so glad we have made. He works 10 times harder at learning and is a million times happier. We love the homeschool program and our helper teacher. He took golf lessons all summer, but the best part of homeschool (for Carson) is that he was able to continue with golf. He was able to have a lesson once a week and then practice with Trevor on Trev's days off. Carson is so cute and excited about golf. His poor friends are always convinced that in order to play they need to hit a bucket of balls out into the field and then go find the balls. He is starting to get good at everything but putting. He says it's because he needs a new putter....I think he might just need another year of practice. Madison loves her new gymnastics class but really misses ballet. I wish there was a ballet class closer. She has been complaining the past month that she won't be able to dance in the Nutcracker. And our little Ethan is getting so big. He speaks in complete sentences and even tries to reason like the big kids. He is always saying the cutest little things. The other day Carson wanted a kiss and he said, "Ethan where's my kiss" (which usually leads to a big hug and kiss on the cheek from Ethan) but instead Ethan replied "it's outside with Shaggy" then he started laughing at himself like he was soo funny. Speaking of Shaggy.... I think he even likes the new home. He loves playing ball and has always loved fetch, but the kids taught Shaggy to go get the baseball when they hit the ball. It was a fun game for everyone. We also got two new kittens. Living this close to a field made me worry about mice. The cats are not allowed in the house and neither is Shaggy. The only problem is Shaggy is a bit of a cat hater. So it took the three of them about 5 months to figure out sharing the property needs to work. I think there is a lot of give and take with the cats and Shaggy. Mostly the cats just give Shaggy all the space he wants.

The best part of our lives lately is the gospel. We have made a much better effort of reading in the Book of Mormon lately. I mean instead of just looking at pictures and telling gospel stories to the kids, we are reading the Book of Mormon. It is fascinating how enjoyable the scriptures have become. I love the feeling that we have when we read together. The kids have started asking amazing questions and I feel like I have been learning more from them lately. I am so grateful this time of year for our blessings, our health, our job, our home, our friends and all our great family.

Madison has always been a super sweet addition to our family. She brings us so much joy!

We had so much fun spending the afternoon with family. It was so fun to see all the love and support for our little Madison. She and I spent Friday night taking off all her nail polish and getting her ready for this big day. She was so full of excitement I could not help but feel all of her same enthusiasm.

Madison's big day!

It is so fun to see the special relationship Madison has with my mom. She is so close to her and it really made Madison feel good to have grandma here.

My dad has always been the most amazing dad ever! I love that my kids get to know him and spend time with him.

This little princess is all girl. She loves all her Belnap relatives. We were so glad Grandma and Grandpa made it to her baptism.

This year has been a gift for me! I am so grateful for the gospel and the life's lessons that I have learned. These are all the family members that were able to attend the baptism.

I love this crew more than ... to the moon and back a million times a million.

My Proof

My Proof
The other night we were playing with the blocks that Grandpa made about 7 years ago. The kids were all doing towers (and of course "accidently" knocking them over) Next thing I know I look over and Christian has written MOM AND DAD ROCK out of the blocks. Since he will be an official teenager next year, I took a picture to have proof that he once thought we ROCKED, because of course we do!!

I can't believe how quickly our baby is growing. She is still the smallest of our babies (but I figure it's because I need my baby to at least look like a baby for a long time). She rolls, giggles, plays, grabs, smiles, coos and pretty much keeps everyone in the house happy. Madison is her biggest fan and I love the relationship that is already developing between those two.

Ethan

Ethan
Our little guy! He makes us smile and laugh all day. He has the cutest little personality ever. Maybe it comes from older sibblings. . . I am not sure. But, I sure do love hanging with my little man all day!

Brynley

Our baby Bree ! ! She is the happiest little thing ever. Our kids are always playing with her. She is the first that really enjoys a little alone time once in a while. . . I wonder why????

Best Buddies

Best Buddies
Christian and Carson remain best buds. . . They also love to include Ethan in all they do lately. . .even if he isn't thrilled with the game. This game Christian and Carson put together to give Ethan a ride in the box. If you look closely Ethan has a steering wheel and passanger in the box. . .err spaceship with him.

I love this picture of Breylyn looking at Madison. She is so lucky to have such a good big sister. Madison adores Breylyn and Breylyn adores Madi.

Swinging with Grandpa

A beautiful day, 4 great Belnap boys. (We know where they get their teasing attitude from.) Thanks Grandpa B.

My Boys

My Boys
I can not even look at this picture without tears coming to my eyes. I am so glad Trevor is such a good dad. He is raising a very bright future. My boys love to work just like their dad. My boys love and care for me just like their dad. My boys are smart and funny just like their dad. (He is even a sport about picutres....I told him we were only going to do the kids' pictures since his leg is still in a cast...but then Madi wanted one with me so I asked Trevor to do one wit the boys...anyways that is why he is in a hoodie..but he didn't complain too much...just like his sons)

Mom and Madi

I absolutely love having Madison around. She is a little ray of sunshine. I am so blessed to be her mom !

Christian and Carson

I love that these two remain such close friends. They spend all day together. From the time Christian gets home from school they are inseperable. I think every boy needs a brother!

Carson Found His Smile

Carson Found His Smile
When you compare the first day of school attitude with Carson's smile on our field trip...(back in October). You can see that Home School was such a good choice. I love having him home. We have a lot of fun together.

1st Day of School

1st Day of School
I sooooo miss having the kids home, but Ethan misses the kids 100 times more. He walks around asking were they are all day long.

This is what happens when a very small piece of chocolate is given to our baby. I want to point out I did not give him that treat...but I got to clean it up. The kids told me, "but mom he wanted one too!" I am sure he did, but there is a reason mom only feeds him in his high chair!

Madison and Grandma

Madison and Grandma
Madison loves being our only girl. She and I spent a lot of time having little trips to Salt Lake. Grandma always took us out for great food. We will really miss our trips to visit grandma.

Ethan and Grandma Dorman

Ethan and Grandma Dorman
I am so grateful that Ethan was able to spend time with Grandma Dorman. She came and helped out after he was born. I am so lucky to have had a great relationship with a fabulous woman.

Carson's Baptism

Carson's Baptism
What a choice spirit Carson is. His baptism was amazing. The Spirit was so strong. Each of the kids afterwards told me of the warm and wonderful feelings they had during his baptism.

Family 2010

Family 2010
We were so grateful that Carson chose to be baptised. He shared his feelings with us as a family. He told us that he felt the Holy Ghost and he knows that he joined the true church. I too know that he is a member of the true and living church of our Savior.

Madison at the dance recital

Madison's costume was so cute. Her dad gave her pink roses and she had a hard time deciding what was better....dancing on stage or flowers?

We all had so much fun at Madison's dance recital. She was amazing.
