Grandma Dorman died today. We are so grateful for the plan of salvation that allows us to be together again. We are grandma's only grandchildren and that definitely had it's advantages. We got all of grandma's attention. She taught us so many lessons. She had an incredibly difficult life, but she never spoke of it as such. She was the most positive, optimistic, genuine person I have ever met. When she spoke of being a young single mom, or loosing her mom very young she never made it sound bad. She spoke of the many relocations that were put upon her as adventures. Moving on a train with very little notice, sometimes, twice in a year, was never burdensome. I hope I can live my life like grandma lived hers. Enjoying good times. Enjoying good health. Enjoying family. And always, always looking at the bright side.
