Baby Ethan Cole Belnap was born November 30, 2008. He came to a very anxious family. We were so worried about Nicole and the baby for months. Amidst the many pregnancy complications we feel it a miracle that he came as perfect and happy as can be. Both Nicole and Ethan made it through the labor and delivery as good as can be possible. Ethan weighed 8 lbs 3 0z and was 21 inches long.

He waited to make his debut until after his Great Grandpa Belnaps Funeral. Trevor was a casket bearer and was worried he would not be able to attend the funeral. Although all week we had worried that Ethan would come he held out. Trevor returned from the funeral Saturday night and early Sunday morning we were admitted to the hospital to await the arrival of Baby Ethan.

My kids are all certain that Ethan wanted to meet Great Grandpa Belnap before he was born. I am not sure how it works, but we will forever be grateful that Trevor was able to attend and honor his Grandpa Belnap.

Grandpa Belnap left a wonderful legacy and raised a great group of children. We are grateful to have his testimony in a book that Sherry made last Christmas for her kids. He was truly a great man.

We had so much fun spending the afternoon with family. It was so fun to see all the love and support for our little Madison. She and I spent Friday night taking off all her nail polish and getting her ready for this big day. She was so full of excitement I could not help but feel all of her same enthusiasm.

The other night we were playing with the blocks that Grandpa made about 7 years ago. The kids were all doing towers (and of course "accidently" knocking them over) Next thing I know I look over and Christian has written MOM AND DAD ROCK out of the blocks. Since he will be an official teenager next year, I took a picture to have proof that he once thought we ROCKED, because of course we do!!

I can't believe how quickly our baby is growing. She is still the smallest of our babies (but I figure it's because I need my baby to at least look like a baby for a long time). She rolls, giggles, plays, grabs, smiles, coos and pretty much keeps everyone in the house happy. Madison is her biggest fan and I love the relationship that is already developing between those two.

I can not even look at this picture without tears coming to my eyes. I am so glad Trevor is such a good dad. He is raising a very bright future. My boys love to work just like their dad. My boys love and care for me just like their dad. My boys are smart and funny just like their dad. (He is even a sport about picutres....I told him we were only going to do the kids' pictures since his leg is still in a cast...but then Madi wanted one with me so I asked Trevor to do one wit the boys...anyways that is why he is in a hoodie..but he didn't complain too much...just like his sons)

This is what happens when a very small piece of chocolate is given to our baby. I want to point out I did not give him that treat...but I got to clean it up. The kids told me, "but mom he wanted one too!" I am sure he did, but there is a reason mom only feeds him in his high chair!

Madison loves being our only girl. She and I spent a lot of time having little trips to Salt Lake. Grandma always took us out for great food. We will really miss our trips to visit grandma.

What a choice spirit Carson is. His baptism was amazing. The Spirit was so strong. Each of the kids afterwards told me of the warm and wonderful feelings they had during his baptism.

We were so grateful that Carson chose to be baptised. He shared his feelings with us as a family. He told us that he felt the Holy Ghost and he knows that he joined the true church. I too know that he is a member of the true and living church of our Savior.
